About the verdicts

Most encountered CPs are long shots. Across all three Galarian birds:

· 58% of CPs have less than 10% chance of useful IVs
· 28% have a 10–19% chance
· Only 4% of CPs have better than 50/50 odds

The distribution is heavily skewed toward bad outcomes — most CPs aren't worth it. "Consider it" requires a top-100 PvP rank and at least a 35% chance of useful IVs, meaning roughly 1 in 3 outcomes are good. Below that the odds aren't in your favor.

Examples

· Articuno CP 50 → Highly recommended (hundo possible, all IVs useful)
· Moltres CP 91 → Use it (91% of IVs useful)
· Zapdos CP 1723 → Consider it (hundo possible, rank ≥35%)
· Articuno CP 1418 → Probably not (only 7% useful)

^* Under normal circumstances a shiny won't flee — but exceptions exist: being speed-locked, your GO+ or Pokémon GO Plus+ throwing before you could, or a connection error can all cause an unexpected flee.

How this works

Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres roam the wild and have an extremely high flee rate — most encounters end with them escaping. This tool tells you whether the CP you see is worth spending your Master Ball on.
